Lok Shakti Shikshan Kendra is a nonprofit organization that aims to bring about social change through education, empowerment, and sustainable development. Founded with the aim of bringing positive social change in the lives of people, Lok Shakti Shikshan Kendra focuses on working hand in hand with children, youth, women, and other underprivileged sections of society to help them grow and prosper.
Our objective is to make the most of the skills of each individual, which can be achieved by educating him/her about the available knowledge and resources through various educational programs, skill development training, and health education campaigns.
Our Story
The vision of Lok Shakti Shikshan Kendra was to make positive impacts on societies in terms of education, empowerment, and social development. The initiative started as an insignificant one to cater to people who lacked basic education and other necessary requirements for leading a healthy life, but over time, it has turned into an effective community-based initiative that aims at making significant changes within the communities.
Since inception, it has been understood by the management of this institute that for any society to become independent and resilient, it needs education, knowledge, and skills that can only be attained through collaboration between various parties in society such as the community members, teachers, voluntary organizations, and community leaders. With time, the scope of this initiative has widened and today includes several programs aimed at catering to the needs of the society.
Some of the areas that are covered by the activities of Lok Shakti Shikshan Kendra include education and literacy programs, skills development program, empowerment of women and girls, health programs, training for leadership development, among others. Through these activities, individuals are trained in order to equip them with relevant skills needed for developing communities.

Empowerment through Education

Using learning assistance programs, computer literacy programs, mentoring, and educational awareness campaigns, we assist children and young people to learn how to live successful lives.
